How to oil cleanse:

Start with dry hands and dry skin. Dispense a small amount of oil cleanser into your palms and gently massage it onto your face using circular motions. Take your time—this helps dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and debris while supporting healthy circulation.

After massaging for 30–60 seconds, add a small amount of water to emulsify the oil. The cleanser will turn milky as it lifts impurities from the skin. Rinse thoroughly with warm water until clean.

Pat skin dry. Oil cleansing can be used on its own or as the first step in a double cleanse, followed by a second oil cleanse or a water-based cleanser if desired.

Suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin.

P.S. August and June does not use chemical preservatives. We use ingredients like rosemary and other anti-microbial compounds that prevent oxidation so that the shelf life of the product maintains it’s integrity. Please avoid mixing any water with the cleansing oil as it will change the microbial balance of this product.
